David A. MacGregor, DMD

Meet Dr. MacGregor

Dr. MacGregor was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. He attended Grove City College in western Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology. Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine is where he earned his degree in dental medicine. Dr. MacGregor went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, and a second year as Chief Resident at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the New York Medical College in 2007. After residency was complete, Dr. MacGregor began private practice.

He maintains privileges at Oswego Hospital, as well as Upstate Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, where he functions as an attending for the dental residents.

Dr. MacGregor is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. MacGregor resides in Baldwinsville with his wife, Misty, their three children, and Belgian Malinois, Pancho. He enjoys coaching soccer and basketball, travelling with family, and golf in his spare time.
